I'm very happy to be on the shortlisting panel for this year's dot-art schools competition with Ryan Gander and Caroline Wilkinson. The overall judge, Una Meehan, will reveal the winners at an exhibition at The Old Library, Chester.
From the dot-arts website:
Our panel of arts professionals have chosen! Congratulations to the top three shortlisted entries from each school, who have a VOTE NOW button underneath their work, for the public to vote for their favourite entry. The entry which receives the most votes is that school's winner and wins a place in the final exhibition in June. Everyone is welcome to vote online for their favourite shortlisted work. Remember your vote will not be counted unless you confirm your vote when prompted by email. So grab a cup of tea and enjoy browsing all the talented young artists to find your favourite.
New Cheshire exhibition venue for 2019!
For the third annual dot-art Schools Cheshire exhibition we are expanding into a larger space at The Old Library, in Northgate Street, Chester very close to Storyhouse, thanks to a new partnership with Chester Visual Arts (CVA). Chester Visual Arts is a registered charity, which brings internationally acclaimed artists and a new focus on visual arts provision to the City of Chester and the wider region. Their immediate goal is to attract a wide audience for high quality visual arts and build towards the establishment of permanent exhibition space that will present ambitious work from local, national and international artists.
